Plexiglass Art: Hanging Onto Hope

$700.00
sold out

Titled “Hanging Onto Hope” by Artist GONZO247. This art piece is one of his many earlier works on plexiglass featuring one of the Artist’s reoccurring icons (representing The Birth of Artistic Creativity) showcasing his spray paint technique and skill, while in an experimentation phase of his art practice. This piece was painted live on a street corner in Austin, Texas during SXSW. The focal point is a baby being lifted by seven balloons as the rain clouds come interview. It is not certain if this is a happy or sad occasion. The balloons resemble planets, similar to earth, giving a hint of a multiverse with endless possibilities. The clouds are bringing the rains of redemption. No matter what happens in life, there is always a way to make tomorrow better.
